This Privacy Policy outlines in general terms how Roux Baby and its related bodies corporate (referred to in this Privacy Policy as ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our) collects, holds, uses and discloses your personal information in accordance with the applicable legislation. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“the Privacy Act”), the Australian Privacy Principles (“APPs”) and the Privacy Laws of the United States ("PLUS").

By visiting and continuing to access our website, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out in this Privacy Policy.

Information collected:

The types of personal information that we collect about you will depend on our relationship with you and may include the following:

  • Your name, gender, date of birth, contact details, photos;
  • Any other information that we may need to identify you as well as any information that you provide to us on our website;
  • Please note that we don't have access to any of your financial informations, such as your bank account and credit card details.

We may collect personal information where you input information into our website, purchase our goods, sign up to our newsletter, and/or from cookies and traffic data.

Stripe 

In order to be able to offer you Stripe's payment options, we will pass to Stripe certain aspects of your personal information, such as contact and order details, in order for Stripe to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you.

Direct Marketing   

From time to time we may use your personal information to provide you with current information about offers you may find of interest, changes to our organisation, or new products or services being offered by us.

If the direct marketing is by email you may also use the unsubscribe function. We will not charge you for giving effect to your request and will take all reasonable steps to meet your request at the earliest possible opportunity.

Rights of data subjects/your rights under data protection law: Hi6pack is required to recognise the following rights which you enjoy under the applicable data protection law with respect to your personal data.

Right to be informed You have the right to be informed about the collection and use of your personal data. This information is set out above in our Privacy Notice.

Right of access: You may request information from Rouxbaby at any time as to whether Rouxbaby has stored your personal data and which personal data it has stored. Rouxbaby is required to provide this information to you free of charge.

Right to erasure: You have the right to demand that Roux Baby erase your personal data if and to the extent that the data is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected or if the data is processed on the basis of your consent and you have opted to revoke your consent. In such cases, Rouxbaby must cease processing your personal data and remove that data from its IT systems and databases.

You do not have a right to erasure if:

  • The data may not be deleted due to a statutory obligation or must be processed due to a statutory obligation
  • The processing of data is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Right to restriction of processing: If your data is processed by Rouxbaby on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you may object at any time to processing by HiSmile. Right to object to processing: You have the right to demand that Rouxbaby  erase your personal data if and to the extent that the data is no longer needed for the purposes for which it was collected or if the data is processed on the basis of your consent and you have opted to revoke your consent. Right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority: : Pursuant to Article 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data infringes data protection law.

Social Media   

Our website currently contains links to the following social media providers: Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram via the relevant social media buttons. In order to avoid unwanted transfer of your usage data (e.g., address of the currently visited page) to these services, you will only be able to access them by clicking on the link. The aforementioned social networks may themselves collect usage and possibly user data. We have no control over the data collected and data processing activities, nor are we aware of how much data is collected, the purposes of processing or the storage periods. Nor do we have any information on the erasure of the data collected by the plugin provider.

Your browser may not establish a direct connection to the servers of the aforementioned services until you click on the links. This means that the information that you have visited our website is indirectly (referrer) forwarded to these services.
